The hosts showed good form ahead of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship with a comfortable friendly victory in Worgl in Austria.

Michal Trávník scored on 29 minutes when his cross-shot went in at the far post following a fine solo run from Martin Frýdek. Goalkeeper Jiří Pavlenka denied Valeriane Gvilija's long-range shot at the top right-hand corner and before half-time Jan Kliment struck in off a post after being set up by Trávník.

Czech Republic coach Jakub Dovalil brought on seven substitutes at half-time and by the end had seen 20 of his squad in action. With three minutes to go Kliment found Tomáš Přikryl to tap in the third. The teams meet again on Tuesday in Zell am See; the Czech Republic open their finals campaign against Denmark in Prague on 17 June.

Czech Republic: Pavlenka; Jugas (Holeš 46), Brabec (Kalas 46), Baránek (Polom 46), Hanousek (Hybš 46); Jánoš (Takácz 66), Zmrhal (Hrubý 46); Masopust (Vávra 46), Trávník (Houska 46), Frýdek (Přikryl 60); Kliment.
