Poland's prime minister Jarosław Kaczyński is to head the national committee responsible for the organisation of UEFA EURO 2012™ in the country. Poland and Ukraine were named by UEFA as co-hosts for the 2012 final round earlier this month.

PZPN representatives
Two senior representatives of the Polish Football Association (PZPN) will also serve on the committee - association president Michał Listkiewicz and Adam Olkowicz, who headed Poland's 2012 bid in conjunction with their Ukrainian neighbours. "This is the best solution," said Listkiewicz. "The people in charge of the country will be dealing with issues such as stadiums and roads."

Maximum infrastructures
Poland's government is currently studying potential legal changes that will help the country provide the best infrastructure possible for the tournament "We will enlist the experience of the companies that gave advice during major sports events like the European Championships in Portugal [in 2004] as well as in Austria/Switzerland [in 2008], and also the [2006 FIFA] World Cup in Germany," said Polish sports minister Tomasz Lipiec.
