Ergin Keles and Karim Benzema both scored twice on the final matchday of the fifth UEFA-CAF Meridian Cup to share the tournament's top scorers' award with France's Jérémy Menez.
Five goals each
Menez had led the rankings since the opening day when he scored a hat-trick in France's 7-0 win against Cameroon. He also found the net against Nigeria on Matchday 3, and ended his campaign on Friday with France's first goal in their 4-1 success against Egypt, who themselves boasted Africa's top scorer Sherif Ashraf Okily.
Double delights
However, in the same game Benzema also struck twice, in the 55th and 74th minutes, to join his international team-mate on five goals. Meanwhile in Kusadasi, Ergin found the net in either half in Turkey's 3-1 win against Cameroon to get his fourth and fifth goals of the tournament and earn a share of the limelight.
