Spain lifted the trophy in 2007 and 2008 (©sportsfile)
The regulations for the UEFA European Under-17 Championship are initially drawn up by the UEFA Administration before being submitted to the Youth & Amateur Football Committee. Upon that committee's approval they are then forwarded to the UEFA Executive Committee for ratification.
