uefa.com and UEFA will be donating money to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Score for the Red Cross appeal as part of the uefa.com users’ Team of 2007. Users can also make donations to the appeal should they wish after voting.
Partnership continues
The Score for the Red Cross appeals sees the long-standing partnership between UEFA and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) continue at UEFA EURO 2008™ next summer.
Supporting landmine victims
The core enterprise for the final tournament, to be played at eight venues in Austria and Switzerland between 7 and 29 June, is a fundraising campaign - Score for the Red Cross - that will enable football fans to buy virtual goals for their teams online. The ICRC will use the money raised to support landmine victims in Afghanistan.
