Monday 16 November 2009The second-leg ties of the play-offs for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa take place on Wednesday, with Ukraine and Greece kicking off at 19.00CET, followed by Slovenia against Russia and Bosnia-Herzegovina versus Portugal at 20.45, and finally France-Republic of Ireland from 21.00. Also this week, the Training Ground features Chelsea FC goalkeeper Petr Čech's top tips and a guide to short passing from Arsenal FC midfielder Cesc Fàbregas. You can also watch parts one and two of the Training Ground documentary focusing on Finland forward Jari Litmanen. In part two he looks back with particular fondness on his time at AFC Ajax and explains how he tries to help the next generation of players.

Online ticket sales opened today for the UEFA European Futsal Championship, which takes place between 19 and 30 January 2010 in the Hungarian cities of Debrecen and Budapest. Tickets are available via the dedicated website futsaleurotickets.com. Web sales will continue until the tournament's final day, Saturday 30 January. Log on now to avoid disappointment.
