Stella Rossa Vienna and FC Politekhnik Yerevan will meet on Wednesday to decide who goes forward to the Main round of the UEFA Futsal Cup while Hapoel Ironi Rishon Lezion have made a flying start.

Goals galore
Vienna and Yerevan have dominated Preliminary round Group D with the Austrian hosts following up their opening-day success with a 5-1 defeat of Irish debutants Shamrock Rovers FC. Yerevan performed even better with the Armenian challengers winning 8-2 against Scottish hopefuls Fair City Santos. While the Celtic clubs will do battle for the honour of finishing third, the main attraction will be the meeting of Vienna and Yerevan at the Hollgasse Hall.

Group C decider
Group A also began on Monday night with Israeli hosts Ironi Rishon easing past FK Nafta Mažeikiai of Lithuania with a 7-2 success while Dutch champions FCK De Hommel recovered from a two-goal half-time deficit to beat Swiss representatives Uni Futsal Team Bulle 4-2. The group continues tomorrow when De Hommel face Bulle and Hapoel play Nafta. Also on Tuesday, Group C becomes the first pool of the Preliminary round to be decided when Latvian hosts FK Kauguri take on FC Camelot Chisinau needing only a draw to pip the Moldovan champions to the Main round.
