The UEFA Futsal Cup Main round runs from Monday until Sunday with former champions Action 21 Charleroi among the 24 sides aiming to move a step closer to the finals. All the matches can be followed live on the uefa.com matchcentre.
Elite round aim
Belgian champions Charleroi, who lifted the trophy in their third final appearance in 2004/05, are among 17 teams entering the competition in this stage, joined by the seven Preliminary round group winners from August. The 24 sides are split into six groups, with the top two to progress to the Elite round draw on 13 October, alongside holders Interviú Madrid, 2008 winners MFK Viz-Sinara Ekaterinburg, that season's runners-up ElPozo Murcia FS and AFC Kairat Almaty. Four Elite round mini-tournaments will be played from 14 to 22 November, with the group winners competing in the finals, hosted by one of the qualifying quartet in late April.
Chrudim opener
Main round fixtures start on Monday in Group 2, where formidable Czech hosts FK Era-Pack Chrudim face FK Nikars Riga, who came through the Preliminary round like Nautara Kaunas, up against debutants Hurtapu Łęczyca of Poland. Games continue on Tuesday and Thursday, while starting on Wednesday is Group 3, where Charleroi welcome Sweden's Skövde AIK, Athina '90 of Greece and Finnish champions Golden Futsal Team. The remaining groups run from Thursday until Sunday, with 2003/04 runners-up SL Benfica among the sides in action.
