Hungary may have fallen in the UEFA Futsal EURO 2016 group stage but their striker Zoltán Dróth leads the way in the race for the adidas Golden Shoe for top scorer.

Kairat Almaty's Dróth struck twice in the losses against Spain and Ukraine and also managed an assist. That keeps him ahead of Portugal's Ricardinho, who added a stunning goal in the defeat by Serbia to his hat-trick against Slovenia.

However Ricardinho, like third-placed Mladen Kocić of Serbia and many of the other contenders, has knockout games in which to increase his total. Ricardinho is also the overall top scorer for the competition including qualifying; he is now on nine goals, one clear of Ukraine's Mykola Bilotserkivets, missing the finals through injury.
