The play-offs will involve the seven runners-up and best third-placed side from the main round: Ukraine, the Netherlands, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovakia.
The draw is open other than best third-placed team Slovakia can not be matched with the side that finished second in their group, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The first four teams picked will be allocated to ties 1 to 4 in ascending order and play the first leg at home. The last four teams drawn will be allocated in similar fashion, with the exception of Slovakia facing Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The two-legged ties will be played 17 and 24 September with the winners progressing to the finals in Belgium between 28 January and 8 February 2014.
