UEFA opens disciplinary case against Gattuso

UEFA has begun disciplinary proceedings against the AC Milan midfield player Gennaro Gattuso, with the Control and Disciplinary Body to discuss the case on 21 February.

UEFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against the AC Milan midfield player Gennaro Gattuso following incidents that took place on the occasion of Tuesday's UEFA Champions League match against Tottenham Hotspur FC in Italy.

The UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body will meet on Monday 21 February to discuss the case and consider the official reports of the referee and match delegate. Milan lost the first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie 1-0 against Tottenham at San Siro.
