MESGO developing tools for success

The third edition of the MESGO programme continued in Brussels, giving elected representatives and managerial staff of sports organisations the chance to develop their football management skills.

The programme focuses in particular on the current and future key challenges faced by sports organisations and offers participants training, social and professional contacts, knowledge-sharing opportunities and personal development. Before arriving in Brussels, there had been three previous modules in Paris, Switzerland and London, aimed at benefitting European football as a whole.

"It's a very good session and a great experience to listen to the experience of other federations," said Elkhan Mammadov, general secretary of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA). "The structure of all of many sports federations have been presented in detail and that's very important to know both how the legal entity works as well as how the competitions are organised."
