Football is looking up in Moldova. Working together with UEFA and especially through the HatTrick Programme, the infrastructure for the sport's sustainable development is being put in place, particularly at their national team's training centre, in Vadul-lui-Voda.
Covered stands for spectators have been constructed there as well as refurbished dressing rooms and physiotherapy rooms for players. The venue is now ideal for the staging of mini-tournaments, bringing benefits for players and coaches.
HatTrick assistance was also vital in the construction of the Football Association of Moldova (FMF) futsal arena.
"We wouldn't have been able to implement all of these projects without the help of UEFA," says FMF president Pavel Cebanu. "We've already achieved two of our main aims, with the new offices and the base in Vadul-lui-Voda."
