National teams’ growing success

Despite drawing on a small pool of registered players (approximately 40,000), Israel’s footprint as a footballing nation is growing at all levels.

In 2022, the nation finished runners-up at UEFA’s men’s Under-19 final tournament in Slovakia as well as hosting the men’s Under-17 finals. The senior team are also top of their UEFA Nations League group, pushing for promotion to League A.
