Following the second international conference of the Centre for Access to Football in Europe (CAFE) – supported by UEFA – its managing director and campaigner for better access for disabled sports fans, Joyce Cook, shared her views on the topic with UEFA Champions League Matchday Live.
"Disabled people are the largest minority," said Cook. "Yet if we are to take our rightful places, as football fans, players, coaches, employees and decision-makers across the game, then the barriers that exclude us must be removed.
"Without UEFA's unwavering support, CAFE would almost certainly not exist. Together we are creating a fairer and more inclusive game across Europe – one that respects access for all."
