New #CelebrateFootball TV spot for EURO final

UEFA is thanking fans who have shown exemplary behaviour and respect at UEFA EURO 2016 in a new TV spot as the tournament's #CelebrateFootball campaign reaches its climax.

UEFA thanks fans for sharing and creating memorable moments.

UEFA's official Respect campaign for UEFA EURO 2016, #CelebrateFootball, reaches an exciting climax for the eagerly awaited final between Portugal and the hosts at the Stade de France on Sunday.

The campaign has highlighted the joy of football throughout the tournament, with the help of a popular TV spot and an extensive online campaign in which fans have been encouraged to share a universal passion for the beautiful game.

#CelebrateFootball has promoted five key areas of Respect: diversity, fan culture, health, environment and stadium access for all.

Now, at the culmination of the #CelebrateFootball initiative, UEFA is thanking the supporters who have shown exemplary behaviour and respect during the EURO through a new TV spot, which focuses on celebratory moments at the finals.

The TV spot will also be published on UEFA's websites and social media channels.

UEFA General Secretary ad interim Theodore Theodoridis added his own thanks to the fans. "When UEFA EURO 2016 kicked off, as part of our Respect campaign, we encouraged all fans to celebrate football and to share their passion for their national teams.

"What we saw from the thousands of supporters who filled the stadiums over the last month truly overwhelmed us, and that is why we decided to create a video clip highlighting some of the most iconic moments during the tournament. To the fans of the EURO, we say 'merci!'."
