KS Dinamo Tirana coach Aurel Ticleanu has resigned in the wake of the Albanian first division side's 1-0 defeat at KS Besa at the weekend.
Ultimately responsible
The Romanian, who only took over at the club last December, had been disappointed that his players had not performed to their potential but accepted that he was ultimately responsible for their poor league position. Dinamo are currently sixth in the table, 18 points behind leaders SK Tirana.
Further afield
Ticleanu has spent much of his coaching career in his home country, at the likes of FC Universitatea Craiova, FC Rocar Bucuresti and FC Tractorul Brasov, as well as a spell in charge of the Romania youth team. He has also ventured further afield, taking charge at MAS Fes in Morocco and the Bangladesh national team.
