Blažević resigns as Bosnia-Herzegovina coach

The executive board of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted coach Miroslav Blažević's resignation after a marathon meeting on Saturday. The 74-year-old Croatian had been considering his position since the national team were beaten by Portugal in a play-off for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, having finished above Turkey and Belgium in qualifying.
