
Attacking midfielder Alexander Alexandrov has returned for a second spell with Bulgarian champions PFC Levski Sofia, signing an 18-month contract.
Second spell
Alexandrov, who has won eleven international caps and turns 35 on 19 January, arrives after two years at PFC Cherno More Varna. He previously played for Levski between 1997 and 2000, winning a domestic title and two Bulgarian Cups before embarking upon a seven-year stint in Turkish football. Levski have also signed 23-year-old forward Miroslav Antonov from FC Sportist Svoge, while capital rivals PFC Lokomotiv Sofia have brought back their former striker Tsvetan Genkov on loan from FC Dinamo Moskva for the remainder of the season. Third-placed Lokomotiv trail league leaders PFC Litex Lovech by seven points, with Levski a further two points adrift in fifth.
