AC Sparta Praha moved five points clear at the top of the 1. liga in the Czech Republic on Friday night with a 4-0 victory against FK Chmel Blšany.
Marek Kincl opened the scoring on 18 minutes, heading home from close range after Jirí Jarošik's effort was blocked. Libor Sionko then struck after 53 minutes from ten metres to double the lead. Radim Holub put a gloss on the scoreline when he fired home after 66 minutes and then again in the dying stages.
Elsewhere, Ludek Zelenka salvaged a point for SK Slavia Praha at FK Drnovice with two late goals. The hosts were on course for a crucial victory in their fight against relegation when they led 2-0 with 13 minutes left. But substitute Zelenka's double strike secured a 2-2 draw for Slavia, who remain sixth.
