Gosling woe for Everton

Everton FC's England Under-21 midfielder Dan Gosling faces nine months on the sidelines with a serious knee injury. The 20-year-old ruptured the cruciate ligament in his right knee during Everton's Premier League stalemate at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC last Saturday. Manager David Moyes said: "I'm really disappointed for Dan – he's been making great progress and we look forward to having him back as soon as possible." Gosling has made 22 league appearances for the Merseysiders, scoring four goals.
