Manchester City FC find themselves ten points adrift of Premier League leaders Manchester United FC following a 1-1 draw against Fulham FC.
City took a 24th-minute lead through Mario Balotelli's sixth league goal of the campaign, but Fulham, under the charge of former City manager Mark Hughes, earned a share of the spoils thanks to Damien Duff's strike three minutes after the break. City are third, six points behind Arsenal FC, having played a game more than the Gunners and United.
In the day's other fixture, West Ham United FC climbed off the foot of the table with a 3-1 triumph against UEFA Europa League contenders Liverpool FC. Avram Grant's men nonetheless remain in the bottom three, trailing 17th-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers FC on goal difference.
