Paris Saint-Germain FC equalised late on to earn a 1-1 draw at FC Lorient but they missed the chance to move level with Stade Brestois 29 at the top of Ligue 1, on a day when Olympique Lyonnais defeated OGC Nice 1-0.
PSG created a whole host of chances in Brittany only to fall behind on 32 minutes, with Lynel Kitambala found the net following a corner. Lorient goalkeeper Fabien Audard continued to keep the visitors quiet after that, yet he was finally beaten in the final minute when Nenê controlled Mathieu Bodmer's headed pass and finished. That goal took the capital outfit to within two points of the summit in fourth spot.
Also on Sunday, Jérémy Pied registered his second league goal for Lyon as Claude Puel's charges climbed to eighth with a slender win against Nice. Their fellow UEFA Champions League hopefuls AJ Auxerre lie one spot lower after a success of their own, Julien Quercia hitting the winner as fifth-placed Stade Rennais FC were beaten 2-1 in Burgundy.
