Paris Saint-Germain FC are still awaiting their first victory of the new Ligue 1 season after losing Ezequiel Lavezzi to a red card in a goalless draw at AC Ajaccio, while Olympique de Marseille and FC Girondins de Bordeaux both won again.

Missing Zlatan Ibrahimović through injury, the capital side were twice thwarted by Ajaccio goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa in the first half. Things got worse after the break when summer signing Lavezzi was sent off for a challenge on Benjamin André as Carlo Ancelotti's side failed to improve on last weekend's 2-2 stalemate with FC Lorient.

Fierce rivals Marseille have enjoyed an excellent start, in contrast, making it two wins from two as André-Pierre Gignac and Rod Fanni helped them see off FC Sochaux-Montbéliard 2-0. Ludovic Obraniak struck 15 minutes from time for Bordeaux as they defeated Stade Rennais FC 1-0 to keep their own perfect record intact.
