Table-topping Paris Saint-Germain are now unbeaten in 25 Ligue 1 matches after a clinical display in a 3-0 win at Stade de Reims.
A prolific Paris had struck seven goals in their last two league outings, their confidence in front of goal clear on 24 minutes when Lucas burst on to a Zlatan Ibrahimović lay-off and finished superbly. To their credit Reims held the champions until the hour mark, when Jéremy Ménez – making only his fourth top-flight start of the season – rifled Marco Verratti's pass into the roof of the net.
Ibrahimović scored his ninth goal of the season in the last minute, equalling the Ligue 1 tally of strike partner Edinson Cavani. Paris are now seven points clear at the head of the table.
On Friday, Olympique de Marseille made it back-to-back league victories for the first time since September with a 3-1 triumph at AC Ajaccio. France international André-Pierre Gignac's stunning volley, sandwiched between Dimitri Payet's stylish opener and Florian Thauvin's second-half knock-in, negated Grenddy Perozo's effort for Ajaccio and secured all three points for OM, who are fourth.
Reims, meanwhile, have been replaced in sixth spot by Olympique Lyonnais, who were held 1-1 by a Valenciennes FC side who remain in the bottom three. Propping up the standings are FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, despite their 1-1 draw with SC Bastia.
FC Lorient, meanwhile, pulled further clear of trouble in emphatic fashion, winning 4-0 at ten-man Évian Thonon Gaillard FC. Elsewhere, Montpellier Hérault SC versus EA Guingamp and Stade Rennais FC against FC Girondins de Bordeaux both finished 1-1.
