Paris Saint-Germain stretched their lead at the head of Ligue 1 to five points, after coming from behind to defeat bottom-of-the-table AC Ajaccio 2-1.
Second-placed AS Monaco FC dropped points in a 1-1 draw at Montpellier Hérault SC on Friday evening, and Laurent Blanc's men took full advantage despite falling behind in just the sixth minute in Corsica. Eduardo's third league goal of the season put the hosts ahead.
However, Zlatan Ibrahimović rolled across goal for Ezequiel Lavezzi to tap in the equaliser four minutes before the interval. Blaise Matuidi headed the winner in the 74th minute to make it four wins in their last five games in all competitions for the capital club.
Fourth-placed AS Saint-Étienne, meanwhile, were held 0-0 at EA Guingamp, but FC Girondins de Bordeaux, a place below, could not take advantage as they suffered a 1-0 home loss to Toulouse FC, both sides finishing the game with ten men.
Elsewhere, Clément Grenier and Yoann Gourcuff struck in the second half to earn Olympique Lyonnais a 2-0 win against FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, while Mathieu Dossevi scored two in Valenciennes FC's 3-2 success over SC Bastia, to make it successive league wins for the relegation-threatened outfit. Stade Rennais FC and OGC Nice played out a goalless draw in Saturday's other fixture.
