Dortmund triumph, Hertha held

Borussia Dortmund left it late to secure their second win of the season, while Hertha BSC Berlin were pegged back by a last-minute 1. FC Nürnberg equaliser in Sunday's other game.

Borussia Dortmund left it late to secure their second win of the Bundesliga season, while Hertha BSC Berlin failed to make it six points from two games.

Jürgen Klopp's team opened the season by beating FC Bayern München 4-2 in the German Super Cup before winning 4-0 at FC Augsburg in their league opener. However, at home to promoted TSV Eintracht Braunschweig, Dortmund took 75 minutes to break the deadlock, Jonas Hofmann finishing from a tight angle. With four minutes left Hoffmann's fellow substitute Marco Reus doubled the lead from the penalty spot and although Kevin Kratz pulled one back, Braunschweig remain among five sides yet to get off the mark.

While Dortmund join Bayern, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, 1. FSV Mainz 05 and SV Werder Berlin on six points, Hertha, having won 6-1 against Eintracht Frankfurt last Saturday, were held 2-2 at 1. FC Nürnberg. Trailing to Josip Drmic's goal at half-time, Hertha went ahead through Sami Allagui and substitute Ronny only for Hiroshi Kiyotake to level with a last-minute free-kick.
