Sunday service for Bochum

Sunday Oliseh has joined VfL Bochum in a long-term loan deal from BV Borussia Dortmund until June 2004.

BV Borussia Dortmund's Sunday Oliseh has joined 1. Bundesliga rivals VfL Bochum in a long-term loan deal until June 2004.

Reunited with coach
The 28-year-old Nigerian international, who will join his new team-mates at their training camp in Turkey tomorrow, has only figured twice for Dortmund this season, making not a single appearance in the UEFA Champions League. At Bochum he teams up again with Peter Neururer, his former coach at 1. FC Köln.

Peripheral figure
Oliseh, a defensive midfield player, has won over 50 caps for Nigeria but has been a peripheral figure at Dortmund, where he remains under contract until 2005. Oliseh arrived at the Westfalenstadion from Juventus FC in 2000 and his previous clubs include AFC Ajax, 1. FC Köln, AC Reggiana, FC Lüttich and Julius Berger Lagos.
