Panahaiki GC have signed defender Stelios Maistrelis on loan from AEK Athens FC until the end of the season.
Bottom of the league
Maistrelis, who joined AEK from lower league side Eolikos in July, will stay at Panahaiki until June as the club aim to battle their way out of the relegation places. Panahaiki are currently bottom of the Alpha Ethniki having earned just five points from their 14 games this season.
The 23-year-old has made just one appearance for AEK in the league this season although he has played four games in the Greek Cup. He signed a five-year contract with the Athens club in July, and will strengthen a Panahaiki defence looking to restore some confidence after a 6-0 defeat against AEK on Sunday.
