Eleftheropoulos out for two months

Olympiakos Piraeus FC goalkeeper Dimitrios Eleftheropoulos has dislocated his shoulder in training.
Olympiakos Piraeus FC goalkeeper Dimitrios Eleftheropoulos will be out of action for two months after dislocating his shoulder in training.

Derby woe
Eleftheropoulos has been told he needs an operation to cure the problem and faces up to eight weeks on the sidelines. The 26-year-old was already carrying a shoulder injury which he sustained during the recent derby match against Panathinaikos FC.

Ready deputy
Theofanis Katergiannakis, who replaced him as a substitute against Panathinaikos and has kept goal in the last three games, will continue to deputise. Reigning champions Olympiakos are currently second in the Alpha Ethniki, two points behind leaders Panathinaikos FC following their 3-2 defeat by the Greens on 12 January.
