Détári achieved promotion with Haladás last term and his team had made a good start to the new campaign, lying in sixth place in the table. The announcement came as a surprise but Détári declined to go into the details. "I haven't got a bad word to say about anyone at the club and I wish them every success," he said. "I've felt like a king here in the past few months." Sándor Gujdár, the ex-Kispest Honvéd FC interim manager who was working as Détári's assistant, will remain at the club.
