Second-half strikes
Paul Osam opened the scoring on 53 minutes. Darragh Maguire headed the second 14 minutes later from a Martin Russell corner, before Michael Holt added a third in stoppage time.
Possible sanctions
But while St. Patrick's have two games in hand on leaders Shelbourne, they face a possible points deduction for having used an unregistered player in Charles Mbabazi Livingstone. The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) docked them nine points earlier in the season for a similar offence, but St. Patrick's won the points back on appeal. Now they could lose 15 points for the five matches Livingstone played before being properly registered on 12 September.
