Saint Patrick's Athletic FC moved to within two points of leaders Shelbourne FC.

Saint Patrick's Athletic FC moved to within two points of FAI National League leaders Shelbourne FC with a narrow 1-0 home victory over Shamrock Rovers FC.

Maguire winner
Darragh Maguire scored the game's only goal on the stroke of half-time. It proved to be a crucial strike as Shelbourne FC could only muster a goalless home draw against University College Dublin FC.

Galway doomed
Galway United FC, who are doomed to relegation slipped to yet another defeat - their 23rd of the season - at home to Longford Town FC. Fergal Coleman netted both goals.

Remaining games
In the night's remaining fixtures Dundalk FC beat Derry City FC 4-2, while Bray Wanderers AFC and Bohemian FC shared the points in a 2-2 draw.
