Beitar triumphant in League Cup final

Beitar Jerusalem FC won the first silverware of the season in Israel thanks to a 1-0 victory against Ligat Ha'Al strugglers Hapoel Ra'anana FC in the League Cup final. Midfielder Idan Vered (52) scored the only goal in front of 5,646 supporters at the Ramat Gan Stadium.
