The result ends a run of four successive losses in all competitions for the Giallorossi and lifts them into sixth, six points shy of the top four.

Next up for Roma is the visit of Parma FC to the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday in what will be Montella's first home match since succeeding Claudio Ranieri this week.
