In a dramatic climax to their fixture at relegation-threatened AC Cesena, FC Internazionale Milano snatched victory from the jaws of defeat as Giampaolo Pazzini struck twice in added time to keep alive his side's faint hopes of retaining the Scudetto.
Cesena had deservedly taken the lead when Igor Budan (56) met Luca Ceccarelli's centre with a splendid first-time volley. However, Massimo Ficcadenti's resurgent side − who had lost just one of their prevous nine matches − were pegged back when Pazzini flicked in Samuel Eto'o's left-wing cross (90+1).
His second, a precise header from Maicon's delivery, came 20 seconds from the end of the five added minutes and moved the Nerazzurri to within five points of leaders AC Milan, who host Bologna FC on Sunday.
SSC Napoli are a point behind Inter after overcoming Genoa CFC 1-0, Marek Hamšík scoring his 11th Serie A goal of the campaign seven minutes from time.
