Parma AC's French goalkeeper Sebastien Frey has undergone knee surgery following a meniscus injury that he sustained in his left knee.

Doubtful for U-21 finals
The Under-21 international will be out for between 30 to 40 days, which puts at risk his participation in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship which takes place in Switzerland in May. France have been drawn in Group Two alongside Belgium, Czech Republic and Greece.
