Veteran striker Antonio Di Natale scored the only goal of the game as Udinese Calcio overcame AC Milan at the Stadio Friuli.
The 36-year-old struck midway through the second half, tucking in his 185th Serie A goal from close range after a neat team move and a rapid exchange of passes between Roberto Pereyra and Bruno Fernandes. The tap-in moved Di Natale above Gabriel Batistuta into tenth on Serie A's all-time scorers' list.
Overall, Milan had the better of the chances, but 17-year-old Simone Scuffet proved indomitable in goal for the Zebrette, making a fine one-handed save from Giampaolo Pazzini and twice denying Robinho, including a terrific reaction stop from the Brazilian international's glancing header.
It was Milan's tenth loss this term and the first time this season they have suffered back-to-back defeats in the league, but that Di Natale was responsible for both statistics was far from surprising – the prolific frontman clearly relishes playing Milan, having now netted 12 goals against them in his career.
Elsewhere, Gonzalo Bergessio's glancing header cancelled out Matias Vecino's effort as 19th-placed Calcio Catania earned a point against Cagliari Calcio, who had Danilo Avelar dismissed for collecting two yellow cards.
