FC Internazionale Milano have moved five points clear in the race for a UEFA Europa League qualifying berth after coming from behind to beat SS Lazio 4-1.
The Nerazzurri were celebrating Javier Zanetti's final Serie A match at San Siro after 19 years, but the crowd were silenced when Giuseppe Biava bundled in after just two minutes. Inter were level soon after when Rodrigo Palacio raced onto a fine pass from Mateo Kovačić. Kovačić was the provider again on 34 minutes with a stylish assist for Mauro Icardi's sweeping finish.
A Palacio tap-in earned Inter a 3-1 half-time lead and paved the way for Zanetti's introduction to a standing ovation. The second half brought a fine goal for man Hernanes, who whipped the ball into the bottom-left corner in his first match against his former club since moving in January.
Earlier, Hellas Verona FC let slip a two-goal lead in an entertaining 2-2 draw with Udinese Calcio. An added-time goal from Emmanuel Badu completed the Zebrette's remarkable comeback after Luca Toni's penalty and Emil Hallfredsson's volley had put the hosts 2-0 up. It was a sensational reply by 36-year-old Antonio Di Natale that stole the limelight however, as the Udinese captain controlled a cross, swivelled and volleyed in his 190th goal in Serie A.
