Season review: Liechtenstein

For the 42nd time, Liechtenstein's flagship competition was won by FC Vaduz, who completed a double of sorts by simultaneously winning promotion to the Swiss Super League.

Their 42nd cup victory was only a stop along FC Vaduz's journey towards their main aim – promotion to the Super League. Following a comfortable 6-0 victory over USV Eschen/Mauren, they have also achieved their main goal and will play in the Swiss Super League in the 2014/15 season after winning the Challenge League title.

Cup final: FC Vaduz 6-0 USV Eschen/Mauren
Strikes from Pascal Schürpf, Nicolas Hasler, Ramon Cecchini, Kwang-Ryong Pak and a Nico Abegglen brace secured a comfortable victory in the nation's only national competition. Vaduz's final opponents had secured a major coup two seasons ago, bringing Vaduz's long winning sequence to an end, with the trophy going to another club for the first time since 1997. Normal service has now been resumed last season.
