FBK Kaunas still comfortably lead the 1.Lyga in Lithuania despite only managing a 1-1 draw at home to bottom-of-the-table FK Dainava on Sunday.
Kaunas went ahead through Tomas Miklinevicius' 67th-minute goal, but Ricerdas Jankauskas earned a share of the spoils for the visitors with an equaliser 11 minutes from time.
Atlantas bubbling under
Kaunas are now 14 points clear of second-placed FK Atlantas, who recorded a 3-0 home win over lowly FK Sakalas. Two second-half goals in three minutes from Martynas Karalius were quickly followed by an Edvinas Lukosevicius strike as Atlantas eased their way to victory. Elsewhere, FK Vetra moved out of the bottom two after beating FK Ekranas 4-1.
