Kenneth Perez scored the only goal for Steve McClaren's side, who now stand two points clear of PSV. AFC Ajax are a further four points off the pace following their 3-0 win at Sparta Rotterdam, where Siem de Jong, Gregory van der Wiel and Dennis Rommedahl scored the goals.
