Ajax set up Dutch classic final

AFC Ajax will meet Feyenoord in the first Dutch Cup final classic since 1980 after Martin Jol's side demolished second division Go Ahead Eagles 6-0 in Thursday's concluding semi-final.

Feyenoord will take on AFC Ajax in the Dutch Cup final on 25 April after the Amsterdam side won 6-0 at second division Go Ahead Eagles in their semi-final.

Goals from Demy de Zeeuw and Marko Pantelić sent Ajax in at the break 2-0 up, with Siem de Jong, Christian Eriksen, Dennis Rommedahl and Nicolás Lodeiro also finding the target after the interval for Martin Jol's side. With Mario Been's Feyenoord having overcome FC Twente on Wednesday night, they will now face their arch-rivals at their own De Kuip stadium in the final for the first time since 1980, when the Rotterdam side were 3-1 winners.
