Published: Sunday 14 March 2010, 18.32CET
Legia Warszawa have dismissed coach Jan Urban and appointed Stefan Białas as his successor until the end of the season. Legia sit third in the Ekstraklasa, but are three points adrift of leaders Wisla Kraków after losing 1-0 at KS Polonia Bytom on Saturday. That was their second successive league defeat and proved to be Urban's final game in charge. The 47-year-old had been at the helm since July 2007 and had overseen two second-place finishes in the top flight as well as a Polish Cup triumph in 2008.
