Double deal for Legia

Legia Warszawa have signed Tomasz Sokolowski from KS Amika Wronki and Andrzej Krzysztalowicz from Zaglebie Lubin.

Legia Warszawa have signed Tomasz Sokolowski from KS Amika Wronki and Andrzej Krzysztalowicz from Zaglebie Lubin on free transfers.

Identical name
The arrival of right-sided midfield player Sokolowski means Legia now have two players with exactly the same name. The new Sokolowski is a 26-year-old former Polish Under-21 international. Krzysztalowicz has joined from demoted Zaglebie and is expected to provide goalkeeping cover for Artur Boruc.

Miecel return
Both players have agreed two-year contracts, but they are not the only new faces at Legia. Forward Marcin Mieciel has arrived back from a loan spell with Greece club Iraklis FC. It is understood the 28-year-old may only spend half a season in Poland before returning to Greece.
