Vitória Setúbal and SC Braga wasted the chance to move into the top half of the 1. Liga following a scoreless draw at the Do Bonfim stadium on Monday night.

Early caution
The home side's Hugo Costa set the precedent for the game when he was cautioned after just two minutes. Four other players followed him into the referee's notebook before Braga right-back Armando was dismissed eight minutes from time for a second yellow card.

Late chances
Both sides had chances to win the match in the closing stages but Setúbal striker Rui Miguel hit a post in the final minute and Braga winger Riva somehow shot wide from close range in the third minute of injury time.

No change
Vitória and Braga remain in 12th and eleventh spots respectively in the 18-team Portuguese first division following 13 games.
