Top scorer
The 27-year-old became Zenit's most prolific top-flight scorer with 64 league goals in 159 matches between 2001 and 2006, a record which still stands. In December 2006 Kerzhakov moved to Sevilla FC in a reported €5m deal, winning the UEFA Cup the following May, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup. He returned to Russia in 2008 when he joined Dinamo, scoring 19 goals in 51 league games. Capped 50 times by Russia, Kerzhakov was under contract for another year with the capital club.

Uruguay forward Luis Aguiar has also left Dinamo for his former club, the 24-year-old signing on loan with Portugal's SC Braga until the summer.
