Gilliéron wins second term as Swiss FA president

Swiss Football Association president and UEFA Executive Committee member Peter Gilliéron will serve a second term at the helm of his national FA after being re-elected in Berne.

The president of the Swiss Football Association (SFV-ASF), Peter Gilliéron, has been re-elected for a further two-year term of office.

Mr Gilliéron was re-elected by acclamation at the Swiss association's general assembly in Berne. The 58-year-old attorney has been SFV-ASF president since 2009, and was also elected as a member of the UEFA Executive Committee at the XXXV Ordinary UEFA Congress in Paris in March.
