Yevhen Konoplyanka, who started all of Ukraine's UEFA EURO 2012 matches, has been named Ukrainian player of the year for his displays at FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk last term.

FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk midfielder Yevhen Konoplyanka has been named Ukrainian player of the year, with Roman Bezus of FC Vorskla Poltava winning the breakthrough award.

Konoplyanka scored eight goals in 28 Premier League appearances for Dnipro last season, helping the club to finish fourth and qualify for the 2012/13 UEFA Europa League. The 22-year-old went on to start all three of Ukraine's matches at UEFA EURO 2012 last month.

Bezus, 21, found the net six times in the top flight last term, as well as making five UEFA Europa League group stage appearances. Mircea Lucescu was voted as best coach after steering FC Shakhtar Donetsk to a league and cup double.

The winners will receive their awards before the Ukrainian Super Cup match between Shakhtar and FC Metalurh Donetsk, which will take place in Luhansk on 19 July.
