Ukrainian champions FC Dynamo Kyiv have signed Brazilian striker Kleber on a five-year contract.

Crucial role
The 20-year-old is joining Olexiy Mikhaylichenko's side from São Paolo FC for a fee reported to be in the region of €2m. He played a crucial role in Brazil's victory in last month's FIFA World Youth Championship, and impressed in the 2003 Copa Sudamericana, the South American equivalent of the UEFA Cup, where São Paolo reached the semi-finals.

Winter break
Kleber will team up with compatriot and fellow forward Diogo Rincón in the Dynamo attack. Dynamo trail FC Shakhtar Donetsk by three points in the Ukrainian Premier League, which is currently in a three-month winter break.
